A 3.2-second face capture. Twelve lifestyle inputs. One number, recalculated every morning. The age your body actually presents as, the rate at which it is changing, and the morning you watch it drop.
Aging is not a number on a birthday card. It is a measurable rate, and the rate changes every day. We built Saecra because a person who can see their rate can change it.
The number is the substrate. The change is the point.
Most people do not need another number. They need to see the gap between the body they are walking around in and the body they could be walking around in, on a clock that updates every morning. Saecra is built for that morning.
The first time the number drops below your real age, you will remember the week. Some mornings the news will not be the news you wanted; show up for those mornings too. The first time it climbs four years in a month, you will know what to change.
Saecra is an iOS app. Coming this fall.
Saecra is an iOS app that measures how fast you are aging, every day. A 30-second routine, a guided selfie plus a lifestyle check-in, gives you one number: your Saecra Age, the gap to your real age, and the three habits moving it most today.
Three systems. One reading.
A 3.2-second face capture at 30fps. 247 facial landmarks. Skin tone normalization across 14 Fitzpatrick subtypes.
Sleep, load, recovery, stress. Twelve inputs, ninety seconds. HealthKit pre-fills what it knows.
A two-stage model. Vision predicts a baseline. Lifestyle weights adjust it daily.
Move a slider. Watch the number move.
The model below mirrors the production weighting. Inputs are real units. The chart redraws on every change. No login, no submission.
This is a vague approximation, not the Saecra model. The app is substantially more precise — vision capture, on-device inference, and the full lifestyle weighting are absent here. Treat the output as illustrative only.
Deep sleep clears metabolic waste and restores hormonal balance. Chronic short sleep accelerates epigenetic ageing.
Each input is weighted by an on-device model trained on epigenetic-age cohorts. Sleep and recovery hours dominate the prediction; sustained stress and elevated resting heart rate push the curve up; aerobic load and hydration pull it down. The 90-day projection assumes the current inputs are held steady — the curve converges toward the predicted steady-state Saecra Age over that window.

Trained on the surface of 2.1M faces.
Consented facial images across 60 countries. Independently audited for cohort bias against the FairFace and UTKFace benchmarks. Inference runs on-device. No image leaves the phone.

Four steps.
One reading.
- 01 · CAPTURE
Three seconds. Camera does the work.
A 3.2-second capture at 30fps. 247 facial landmarks read on-device. A face overlay and a live lighting check make every reading comparable to the last.
- 02 · LOG
Twelve inputs. One minute.
Sleep, training load, stress, alcohol, hydration, recovery, and six more. Most pre-fill from Apple Health. The rest is one tap.
- 03 · READ
Your number. Your gap. Your three biggest moves.
Saecra Age, the delta against your real age, and the three habits doing the most to change the rate today. Updated every morning.
- 04 · ADJUST
Change a habit. Watch the prediction land.
An extra hour of sleep, held for thirty days, lowers your Saecra Age by about 0.8 years. The app makes the prediction. Tomorrow's reading confirms it or doesn't.
On numbers
A measurement that does not change behavior is decoration. The ones that do are the most useful objects a person carries. We optimize for those.
On the body
The face is the most observed organ in a person's life. It is also the most informative readout of the system underneath. We treat it as a sensor.
On privacy
Every face is processed on the device that captured it. The model ships to the phone. The image does not leave it. The number is the only thing we store.
A number is a private measurement. A number changing is a story.
Saecra is built for the person doing this alone. It is also built for the people doing this together, because the rate changes faster when someone else is watching it.
Pick a window. Pick a person. Run the same protocol, thirty nights of seven hours, fourteen days without alcohol, three runs a week, and watch both Saecra Age curves at once. The dashboard is shared. The winner is whoever moved their number furthest.
The morning your number drops below your real age, the app builds a card. One number. One delta. One date. Designed to be screenshotted and posted, never compromised on type or composition. Share or do not. The card is generated either way and lives in your archive.
A silent thirty-second loop of every face capture stitched in order, refreshed in the background every week. Six months in, the timelapse is the only credential that matters. It is yours, it lives on your phone, and it is the most honest piece of media you will own this year.
The cohort is not a feed. There is no scroll, no like button, no notification. The unit of social interaction is the protocol, the head-to-head, and the share card. Nothing else.
The shelf for what actually works.
Saecra is building a curated in-app shop that recommends skincare and face care to users based on their daily biology. We carry only ultra-premium houses, vetted for ingredient transparency and independent efficacy data. If your brand belongs on that shelf, write to us.
